Mike Foster is an educator dedicated to furthering cultural and environmental knowledge about our unique Sonoran Desert. Recently he and former educators from the Sierra Vista Unified School District compiled a list of Mike’s videos for school children in Cochise County. However, I have found these videos can be fascinating to anyone who wants to learn more about this part of the planet we call the Sonoran Desert , which extends south to the mountains of the Sierra Madres in Mexico where you can find a unique subtropical climate unlike what you may find in the Northern Sierra Madres, the Huachuca Mountains.
