Red Herring Puppets: Keeping the Art Puppetry Alive
Red Herring Puppets is the relatively new kid in town. Lisa Sturz runs the show. She has an exceptional background in puppetry and has chosen Tucson as her new home. Shows are located at the Tucson Mall, many of them mini morality plays designed for children such as Aesop’s Fables and Little One Inch. Watch this video to learn more.
After watching this you may wish to join Lisa and the puppets for a “Puppet Cabaret” for adults and older kids only, at the Mall on the first two weekends in October. This will be a showcase of vignettes performed by local puppeteers. Sign up for one of the shows here.
