After 10 weeks and 10 burger reviews, we have selected the establishment with the Best Burgers In Tucson.
You’ve read our burger reviews. You’ve read our summary critique on our Southern Arizona Guide blog at TucsonCitizen.com. So you know what we consider the strengths & weaknesses of each place. (If you don’t, see our page “The Criteria for Choosing the Best Burger in Tucson“.) But in the end, our overarching criterion was fairly simple.
If money & time are no object, but we could only ever go to one burger place, which would it be?
Here’s how we rank them.
- Note: In July 2018, we reviewed the burgers at the Harvest on River. Top Notch! Including the fries and catsup, Numero Uno! (Harvest on River has closed. Visit the one on La Canada.)
- Cayton’s Burger Bistro at the Golf Club at Dove Mountain (aka The Ritz)
- Garden Bistro at Tohono Chul Park
- Charro Steak Downtown on Broadway
- Zinburger (was #1 in 2014)
- Monkey Burger on East Broadway, Downtown is closed.
- Diablo Burger (downtown) CLOSED
- Lindy’s on 4th Avenue
- Cielos at Lodge on the Desert
- Trident Grill (near Speedway & Campbell)
