Wanderland at TucsonBotanical Gardens 2021
Recently we had the distinct pleasure of a private tour of Tucson Botanical Gardens. The occasion was an annual Christmas party for the Southern Arizona Attractions Alliance, which among other things produces the discount ticket “Book of Fun”. Tucson Botanical Gardens is quite magical at night, especially during the new concept of Wanderland. Wanderland is open Wednesdays – Sundays until January 2, 2022. Don’t miss it.
The Gardens are festooned with a bazillion luminarias and other lights throughout this enclave in the middle of town. There is plenty of seating throughout the gardens just for conversation and reflection. I can’t say if the Butterfly exhibit or Café is open in the evenings, but you can ask. If not, come back for these. The food is very good and the Butterfly exhibit is one of my favorite things.
So, if you are not a member, get a Tucson Passport for a discount ticket, which includes over 100 attractions, and purchase your date and time to visit Tucson Botanical Gardens at this special time of year. If you are going to use the Passport for entrance to the Gardens, you will need to do so in person.
If you live in Tucson or the area, consider a membership. The Gardens have some fascinating rotating exhibits yearly.
