Visit the Steward Observatory Mirror Lab (SOML) at the University of Arizona. The Mirror Lab has the capability of producing mirrors in the size range 1.8 to 8.4 meters. Applications include on-axis and off-axis paraboloids. Our spun-cast mirrors are made of Ohara E6 borosilicate glass in typical sizes of: 3.5-, 6.5-, and 8.4-meters diameter.
