Artful Gardens: Tucson Park Exhibits & Garden Art
In Tucson, you will find that many of our gardens and parks display art and exhibits in tune with the themes of their parks. Often this art is exhibited outdoors, so go while it is cool. Some of the exhibits offer art for sale. All of them rotate their exhibits throughout the year. Buy a membership to your favorite and go back often.
Yume Japanese Gardens of Tucson
Rotating exhibits of Japanese Artists as well as a traditional Japanese Garden. There are events in tune with the culture of Japan and membership is available.

Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum
The Desert Museum is more than a museum. It is part zoo, part desert botanical garden. It is also a Museum gallery and Art Institute focusing on the natural world around us. There is always a large selection of courses to be enjoyed by artists and those that would just like a new experience.

Tohono Chul Park’s Galleries and Shops
Tohono Chul’s permanent collection includes artwork and artifacts representative of the nature, art, and culture of the Sonoran Desert in various media. Works from their permanent collection are displayed on a rotating basis and at other times in their themed exhibitions.
The gallery exhibitions extend beyond the Exhibit House doors and into the gardens. Works of local and international artists may be found throughout Tohono Chul in the landscapes around the park. Outdoor exhibitions join the year-round display of pieces from Tohono Chul’s permanent collection.
The museum shops and galleries at Tohono Chul have garnered local awards and offer a unique shopping experience in Tucson. Each individual shop promotes local artwork and educational items that enrich your experience of the park.

The Galleries at Tucson Botanical Gardens
This “Oasis in the Desert” has an art gallery that reflects its mission: to connect people with plants and nature through art, science, history and culture. They also offer art classes as well as health and wellness and, of course, gardening. From October to May be sure to visit the Butterfly Magic Garden. Often art is exhibited around the gardens as an exhibit.
