Music in the Park – Arizona Symphonic Winds

The Arizona Symphonic Winds an all-volunteer concert band performs a variety of music including overtures, light classics, marches, Broadway show tunes and popular music since 1986. Bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic lunches to these evenings of entertainment for the whole family.

No admission charge.

May 14: “Guest: Dario Brignoli, principal clarinet, Tucson Symphony”

May 21: “Guest: Alexander Lipay, principal flute, Tucson Symphony”

May 28: “Memorial Day Weekend” – “Guest: Hayato Tanaka, principal trumpet, Tucson Symphony”

June 4: “”Stars from the Winds and Future Stars” – The Arizona Symphonic Winds is fortunate to have many outstanding performers in the band and will highlight Phillip Switzer, clarinet, Grant Lange, trumpet and vocal; and guest high school clarinetist Audrey Ecelbarger.

All concerts presented by the Arizona Symphonic Winds are in the style of the famed American composer/conductor John Philip Sousa’s “Music in the Park” concert series.Who: Arizona Symphonic Winds, László Veres, Music Director/Conductor
