GONE WILD Fall Camp

Have you ever wondered how dogs and cats went from wild animals to some of our friendliest companions? This Fall Break we are going to look all the way back to when dogs and cats were wild and find out exactly how these creatures developed into our best friends! Join HSSA's Education team for Fall Break Camp GONE WILD!

Campers spend a minimum of 2 hours daily caring for different animals, which may include ball pythons, rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, cats, and dogs. Day long workshops provide children with in-depth, hands-on education about animal care and the human-animal bond.

Cost is $250 for HIP members and $275 for non-members. Fall Break camp will take place in the Education Center at HSSA (635 W Roger Rd). LEARN MORE AND RESERVE YOUR SPOT HERE:

Camps will take place on Monday, October 5th - Thursday, October 8th & Monday, October 12th - Thursday, October 15th from 9am to 4pm every day. This coincides with TUSD and Amphi fall break and we are here to help your kids have a great week learning new things about pets and wild animals during their time away from school!

*COVID-19 Procedures*

While the HSSA's Humane Amigos camp has existing strict cleaning and safety policies in place due to the nature of animal sheltering and the potential zoonotic disease exposure (diseases easily transmitted from domesticated or wild animals to humans), during the age of COVID-19 we require masks, social distancing, and extensive sanitizing protocols to keep our campers, interns and staff safe and healthy throughout the camp season.
