Zoppé Family Circus Returns with La Nonna: Power, Beauty and Elegance

The Zoppé Family Circus, established in 1842, is an Old-World Italian circus that has become a much-loved and appreciated annual event in Tucson. They perform in front of packed houses leaving kids and adults awe-struck by their magical and gravity-defying stunts.

Their 2020 season is titled La Nonna and serves as a tribute to the past Zoppé matriarch who kept the fire of the circus burning and continued its success during the great depression. It was through her tenacity and perseverance that the circus survived through times of nation-wide hardship, uplifting Americans spirits one show at a time. Performed and produced by a female-majority company of artists, this show is meant to celebrate the power, beauty and elegance of women.
