An Afternoon With Georgia

The Tucson Museum of Art League is pleased to partner with The Center for Creative Photography and The University of Arizona Museum of Art to present "An Afternoon With Georgia." Please join us for a reading and discussion with Dawn Tripp, the author of the acclaimed historical novel based on the life of Georgia O'Keeffe.
Following the reading, University of Arizona Museum of Art (UAMA) Curator Olivia Miller will unveil the UAMA’s Georgia O’Keeffe painting, Red Canna. From 2:00 to 3:30, visit the Center’s print study room for a special print viewing showcasing Alfred Stieglitz’s photographs and personal papers; portraits of Georgia O’Keeffe and Alfred Stieglitz from the Center for Creative Photography’s collections by contemporaries including Paul Strand, Ansel Adams, and Yousuf Karsh; and more.
Refreshments provided by Café a la C’Art.
