Halloween Howl: Descent Into A Frightening Underworld!
Last Halloween (2013), Neighbor Roy & I descended into the underworld of Colossal Cave to witness both adults and young children get frightened out of their wits. They call this adventure “Halloween Howl”. At the entrance, the nice folks at Colossal Cave gave their brave (or foolish) guests a candle and sent them down into the darkness with a hardy “Good luck!”
The farther down they descended, the scarier it became. We watched as several guests descended into the cave no more than 50 feet only to turn around and scramble back to the surface screaming in terror.
Many who survived this ordeal headed down the hill to La Posta Quemada Ranch to join the festivities there. To view last year’s slideshow, Click HERE. At least you’ll be forewarned.
