The Battle of Bunker Hill was fought on July 17, 1775 and inspired the
Americans to fight for their independence. On display are artifacts
from the 1876 centennial celebration at the Bunker Hill Monument.
Bette Bunker Richards, historian for the Bunker Family Assn. and
curator at Ft. Lowell Museum will discuss the battle and the Bunker
family that immigrated to America in 1633. Open Fridays and
Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Cost of Event: $3 adults, $2 seniors and students, members and
children under 12 free, families with military ID free from Memorial
Day to Labor Day
