Water is a precious resource, especially in the desert, and especially when so many areas of the United States are suffering from drought conditions. Come with the kids and learn more about water and the hydrology of our area in this presentation by Friends of the Huachuca Mountains Board Member and environmental educator Judy Phillips in this informative program.

What is an aquifer? How is ground water recharged? These and other questions will be explained and answered in a family friendly series of activities. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on our patio if you’d like, and allow time for hiking or exploring the exhibits and activities in Carr House.
