Dia de los Muertos Explained
All of us in the area we call Southern Arizona celebrate, or are at least passingly familiar with the Mexican Holiday known as Dia de los Muertos, or The Day of the Dead. Ever wonder about this special event that has become ubiquitous in Mexico and Southern Arizona. There are shops that are dedicated to this strange day.
The celebration venerates our ancestors. Dia de los Muertos focuses on family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. Watch this video to get a better idea of what this day means to those who honor it.
