Casa de San Pedro Bed & Breakfast

We wholeheartedly recommend Casa de San Pedro Bed & Breakfast whether you’re a birdwatcher or just want to hike in the cool shade of the big trees along the San Pedro River. Karl & Patrick are terrific innkeepers. The grounds are very pleasant. And it’s located within a stones throw of the last remaining free-flowing river in Southern Arizona. The rooms are just a normal-size bedroom & bath but all 10 open to a beautiful courtyard where there are plenty of tables & chairs. Also not far are two Clovis archeological sites. These are as close as you’re likely to get to the Pleistocene Epoch and the Paleo-Indians who hunted the now extinct giant bison, twice the size of today’s “buffalo”, and humongous mammoths that were larger than an African elephant.
